02/18/2022

Nasdaq First North-listed Nexam Chemical has recruited Dane Momcilovic as Business Manager for the growing PET foam business area. Dane Momcilovic comes most recently from Polygiene and has previously been development manager at Diab. The assignment involves being responsible for further developing the PET foam business and expanding it with more products and customers. Dane Momcilovic will take up the post on March 1.

Nexam Chemical helps plastics manufacturers around the world to improve their products – both in terms of durability and function – and thus competitiveness.

Dane Momcilovic has previously been employed as CTO at Nexam Chemical, but is now returning to take on a more commercial role within the company.

– The strong growth of wind power creates the conditions for continued rapid expansion for Nexam, as our products contribute to market-leading PET foam for the manufacture of rotor blades for wind turbines. To take advantage of the opportunities to continue to grow in the PET foam business, it feels good to be able to recruit one of the best on the market – Dane Momcilovic, says Johan Arvidsson CEO at Nexam Chemical.

Through the company’s great expertise in chemistry and plastics, Nexam Chemical develops additives that are often groundbreaking. In the PET foam business, the company has taken a stronger position, for example with the wind power companies, where Nexam Chemicals helps customers to produce materials for the rotor blades for wind power. Our additives improve the properties of the foam in the rotor blades.

– I look forward to continuing to develop Nexam’s already market-leading products, something I know from the customer side. I see really good conditions to continue Nexam’s business in wind power, says Dane Momcilovic.
