The additives can improve the polyamides process ability and performance in this very versatile plastic. In the article, Nexam Chemicals CMO, Lars Öhrn describes how the company’s NEXAMITE®-technology can modify the polyamide in three different ways – chain extension, chain branching and crosslinking. The technology enables improvements in polyamide properties such as viscosity, melt strength and mechanical performance, which some graphs in the article gives examples of.
