Breakthrough for Nexam Chemical within PET-foam – receives order of SEK 5.7 million for production of high volume products
“We have for some time collaborated with our customer, one of the four largest manufacturers of PET-foam in the world and delivered masterbatch in smaller quantities. We are very happy that the customer now increases their volumes of our product to manufacture it´s high performance PET-foam. Nexam Chemical develops and manufacture property enhancing additives under the brand NEXAMITE®. NEXAMITE® is delivered in a pre-blended mix, a so-called masterbatch. Through masterbatch NEXAMITE® can be added to customers’ existing production equipment, which simplifies the production process and ensures a high and stable product quality. Nexam Chemical cooperates with three of the four largest producers of PET-foam in the world. PET-foam are used in for example the turbine blades of windmills, in building constructions, light weight bodies on trucks, railway applications etc.
